Simple Soap. Natural Skincare

There came a moment when I became aware of how many chemicals we encounter almost unknowingly - and how they can affect our skin. Wanting to ensure that my family was in safe hands, I learned how to make cold process soap myself as simply as possible. 

I draw inspiration from the beauty of nature and believe that few pure ingredients hold the key to healthy, balanced skin—and wellbeing beyond the skin. From the gentle influence of essential oils to the cleansing properties of earthy clays, every element is chosen with care, to create my natural soap.

I have thoughtfully developed each formula to create cold processed soap that cleanses without compromising the health of your skin. Using a carefully balanced blend of pure ingredients, my natural soap products are designed to be both effective and gentle. 

I discovered the remarkable properties of traditional oils and butters, ingredients long treasured throughout history, and their simplicity and high performance, which are essential for natural skincare.

At Hillcrest, I value simplicity and sustainability, which is why I take great pride in the ingredients I choose for my natural soap and the processes behind them. 

Transparency matters to me, so you can trust that what you see on the label is exactly what you receive. I do not use palm oil or harsh chemicals in my products, and I aim to select biodegradable and plastic-free packaging whenever possible.

All my natural soaps are made in my home in rural Essex, where I draw inspiration from our beautiful countryside. 

They are handcrafted in small batches using the cold process method, a technique that dates back to ancient civilisation. 

Each step of the process is simple and stripped back to its most natural form. 

Every soap is personally made, cut, handled, and boxed by hand, ensuring the highest care and attention to detail at every stage.
